Dead Man's Folly

Dead Man's Folly was first published by Collins for the Crime Club in 1956. It was first issued in Fontana Books in 1960, and this edition was the second impression published in June 1970. It was published just after decimilisation, and so the price on the cover is gicen as 5/- (25p).

Passenger to Frankfurt

Passenger to Frankfurt was first published by Wm. Collins in 1970. This is the first paperback edition, and first Fontana, issued in 1972 and was priced at 30p. The Cover Painting was done by Tom Adams. Adams illustated many of Agatha Christie's paperback covers, published by both Fontana and Pocket Books.

Published in 1981, this copy is the seventh impression of Thirteen Problems, first published in 1932 by William Collins Sons & Co Ltd and first issues in Fontana Books in 1965. In America it was published as The Tuesday Club Murders.

The problems posed widely:

They Came to Baghdad

They Came to Baghdad was first published by the Collins Crime club in 1951. This edition was published for The Thriller Book Club by Willmer Brothers and Co. The Thriller Book Club was part of the large Foyles Book Shops owned by William and Gilbert Foyle. The adress given for The Thriller Book club is 121 Charing Cross Road, London, W.C.2 (nextdoor to Foyles bookshop).

The back cover states that members of the bookclub could buy booked published at 8/6, 10/6 and 12/6 for 3/6 each.
