First published in 1944 and this edition was first published by Pan books in 1948. This copy is not dated, but I guess it to be from the 1980s due to the price of £1.25.

On February 12 someone works out a scheme for murder and fixes a date in September. During the summer other persons in the drama-to-come make their holiday plans. And in September Mr Treves, the distinguished London solicitor, finds himself in a comfortable hotel not far from Gull's Point, the home of Lady Tressilian.
Gathered in the house is a curious assortment of guests - Nevile Strange, the well-known athlete and her ward and heir, his beautiful wife Kay, his divorced wirfe Audrey, and Thomas Royde, an old friend of the family on leave from Malaya. Across the river estuary at another hotel Ted Latimer, Kay's decorative young friend, is staying. And in the backgrond, the incorruptible journalist MacWhirter.
So the stage is set for murder most foul.

The Listerdale Mystery was first published by Wm Collins Sons and Co in 1934. This edition was first published by Pan in 1970. Thus copy is undated, but due to the price on the back cover of £1.95, I guess it to be from the 1980s.

First published in 1920 and this edition published by Pan in 1954. This copy doesn't have a date on it but the price is in decimals, meaning it was published after 1971.

Styles Court should have been left to John Canvendish. Instead it went to his step-mother who promtly married a fortune-hunter.

When she was murdered the suspects were her family and her closest friends.

Fortunately, Hercule Poirot found some intriguing clues - a shattered coffee-cup, an old envelope, a fragment of fabric, a splash of candle-grease - to help his solve The Mysterious Affair at Styles.

First published 1940 and by Pan in 1956. Another printing in 1957. This copy is the third printing from 1975.

It was a morning Hercule Poirot was unlikely to forget. A morning when he was unable to feel superior in most ways to other men. In short, he paid a visit to Mr Morley, his dentist.
