Ten Little Niggers

This is a French's acting edition of Ten Little Niggers. It was first published in 1944 and first performed in 1943.

This copy has been used for at least two people, one who played General Mackenzie, and another named Russell Charles ...... ..... who preformed on the 16 December 1954 and played Blore.

Ten Little Niggers

First published in 1939, and this edition printed in 1947. This copy was made and printed in France for Pan books whose address was still given in London. This was because of paper shortages during the war. In 1947 Pan reached an agreement with the Board of Trade which allowed them to actually print their books in Europe. In 1950 they went back to printing in the UK. The books would be shipped down the Seine from Paris and then up the Thames to Kingston.

Ten Little Niggers

First published in 1939. This copy doesn't have a date, but using titles of book mentioned as recently published, I guess that it was published in the early 1940s. The particular copy was printed in Australia.

The back cover features an advert for Kruschen Salts...!

Sad Cypress

First published in 1940. This copy is not dated, but using the recently published books printed inside i date it in the early 1940s. An advert for Mars inside states that 'Zoning now restricts Mars to the Southern Counties. So here's hoping for quick victory - and plenty of Mars for everyone - everywhere.', also pointing to a printing date of early 1940s.

Adverts inside and on the covers are Oxo, Mars, Bravington's Jewellers, Cadburys and The Pelman Institute.

Dumb Witness

First published in 1936. Pan published this edition in 1949.

Crooked House

The is the first UK edition of Crooked House, printed in May 1949 by Collins for The Crime Club.

The Boards are Red with black wiritng. The dust wrapper is priced 8s 6d.
