Murder at the Vicarage is based on Christie's Novel. It is thought that she herself dramatised it, but that Moie Charles and Barbara Toy edited some parts.It was first published by Samuel French in 1951, but has a copyright date of 1950. I think that this is probably this 1951 version.The cover art is signed F J Lewis.
It was first performed at New Theatre in Northampton on 17 October 1949. It then moved to the Playhouse Theatre in the West End, performing from 16 December 1949 - 1 April 1950.
